Susan Werner
Sunday Oct. 5th ~ 3pm
$22 members / $25 non-members

Susan Werner. With six albums, an active touring career throughout the U.S., and a string of accolades from the likes of the Washington Post, Village Voice, and New Yorker, Susan Werner has become one of the defining artists of folk music. Her eclectic songs, delivered with a sassy wit and classic midwestern charm, slide effortlessly among folk, jazz, and pop genres. With a quick wit and slightly cynical brand of humor, she manages to be both self-deprecating and supremely self-confident. Using the power of her classically trained voice, combined with excellent musicianship and engrossing songs, Werner creates a refreshing rapport with her audiences. John McEuen
Sunday Oct. 19th ~ 3pm
$30 members / $32 non-members

John McEuen, best known for his work with the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, will grace our small stage in the Mansion. Formed forty years ago, the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band successfully fused traditional American folk music to contemporary rock and country sounds. John has made over 40 albums (6 solo) that have earned 4 platinum and 5 gold recognition awards, Grammy nominations, CMA and ACM awards, and an Emmy nomination. Equal parts comedy routine, history lesson and jaw-dropping display of musical virtuosity, McEuen's concert will indeed impress you. He clearly relishes performing. His own prowess on guitar, banjo, mandolin and fiddle, is balanced by a self-effacing nature and his musical talent. Onstage, McEuen incorporates his vintage instruments with instrumental wizardry that keeps the audience on the edge of their seats. His love for the history of acoustic music and his joy performing live, is evident to all those who see him and hear him . . . there's never a dull moment when McEuen is on!

Dusty Pascal
Saturday November 15th ~ 8pm

We first heard Dusty perform at the Redhouse in Syracuse, NY. Immediately, we were hooked and booked Dusty and his band for a house concert at a friend's lakeside cottage upstate. Dusty Pascal is an unknown in our area, but is hugely popular in central New York. Accompanied by Danny Welch on harmonica and Loren Barrigar on lead guitar, this is one show you will have to trust me on. Dusty's songwriting is inspiring His stories are real-life, and his stage presence is from the heart. Listen to his tunes: www.myspace.com/dustinpascal. Janis Ian
Sunday November 16th ~ 3pm
$40 members / $45 non-members

Janis Ian was born in south Jersey in 1949. By the time she was three she had begun playing the piano. By the age of ten, she moved on to guitar. At 15, she released her first single, "Society's Child" (about an inter-racial relationship among teenagers) to incredible controversy and praise. The buzz surrounding her first single not only landed her on several television programs, but also scored a Grammy nomination the following year.

In the 1970s, Ian's career continued with great vivacity as she released three albums in a row that met large critical acclaim. The release of her second most popular single "At Seventeen" provoked five Grammy nominations, including two Grammy awards. In 1993, Ian returned with the release of Breaking Silence which was nominated for a Grammy for Best Folk Album. Since then, Janis has continued to tour rigorously and release records. She has worked with artists including Dolly Parton, Willy Nelson, and Ani Difranco.

Harvey Reid
Sat & Sun December 13th & 14th ~ 8pm
$22 members / $25 non-members

If you haven't yet attended Harvey's Christmas Concert in the Mansion, give yourself a early gift of music. Not only is he a master guitarist, but when Harvey takes the autoharp in his hands and plays Silent Night, you will have tears in your eyes. Harvey fills the stage with a variety of other stringed instruments such as a mandolin, bouzouki, and a 12 string guitar; and then will fill the room with beautiful music. He is a traditional troubadour, a modern poet-songwriter, a classical virtuoso with a New England dry humor. The Mansion will be decorated by the local garden clubs and will transform the intimate space into a winter wonderland. Happy holidays to all.
